Carbon Coated Battery Foil
It is a breakthrough technical innovation to use function coating to process the surface of the battery conductive substrate. Carbon coated aluminum foil or copper foil is to cover aluminum or copper foil with Well dispersed nano conductive graphite and carbon coated particles evenly and finely. It can provide super static conductivity and collect the micro current of active substance. Accordingly, the contact resistance between positive/negative material and current collector is greatly reduced and adhesive ability between them is improved. It can reduce the amount of bounding agent and enhance the overall battery performance significantly.
1. Significantly improve the consistency of battery use and reduce battery cost. Significantly reduce the increase of the dynamic resistance, improve the consistency of the pressure difference of the battery and extend battery life.
2. Improve the adhesion between the active material and collector and reduce the manufacturing cost of the pole piece. For example, it improves the adhesion between the anode material and collector with the aqueous system, the adhesion between nano/sub-micron materials and collectors. It also improves the lithium titanate or other high capacity anode materials and collectors and increases the qualification rate of pole piece, whereas reduce the cost.
3. The adhesion force increased significantly from 10 gf to 60 gf (with 3M tape or 100 lattice blade test) after the use of carbon coated aluminum.
4. Reduce the polarization, increase the rate and capacity, improve the battery performance. For example, by partly reducing the proportion of adhesive in the active material, the capacity of grams is increase; the electrical contact between active material and collector is improved; polarization is reduced and power performance is improved.
5. Protect the collector and extend battery life. For example, the corrosion and oxidation of the collector is prevented; increase the surface tension of collector and enhance the coating performance of the collector; replace the etched foil with a higher cost or replace the original standard foil with thinner one.
